Harkening back to a core element of furry culture (nerd nostalgia) this event’s art direction was entirely modeled after Nintendo of America’s design-style in the mid 80’s. The poster is also modeled after of-the-era advertising for the NES. I created this scene in Blender, and sourced a large collection of pixel art character heads from attendees for the event loop. We wanted to give folks the chance to be a part of the event art itself, and that was really rewarding. Definitely would like to source community submissions again for future events.
